A little on the history of Indigo Reef: Original owners purchased directly from the developer and paid from $1.1 – 1.6M. Thus, when the market went down, many found themselves in a short sale or foreclosure. Between 2009 and 2011, there were 29 distressed sales and 3 regular sales. In 2012 there were 3 distressed sales and 3 regular sales ($530,000, $550,000 and $650,000). In 2013, there were 7 sales (5 distressed). The majority of these distressed sales are now gone and prices are beginning to increase, as the demand for these properties has always been high.
The homes are townhouses, and are considered like a single family home. They are not condos. Each unit is responsible for paying their own insurance and taxes and pays a homeowner association fee to take care of the common grounds.
The pool is large with room for many and is situated among tropical landscaping.
