As you turn onto Coco Plum Drive (off of US 1), you will first see commercial fishing businesses and small marinas. When the road begins to turn left, there are condos directly on the ocean: Bonefish Yacht Club, Bonefish Villas, Bonefish Towers (the tallest building in the Keys with 14 floors!), The Shores, Royal Plum and Coco Plum Beach Villas.
Coco Plum Public Beach is a small, natural beach that is also dog friendly. It’s generally not as crowded as Sombrero Beach. You can walk the entire length of the beach, including in front of the condos. In Key Colony, you can’t do this.
On the opposite side of the street are single family homes on canals, a couple of condos and Coco Plum Yacht Club (liveaboard marina). These streets are named Avenue D thru Avenue O.
At the end of Coco Plum Drive is “The Pointe At Coco Plum”, with a huge 12,000 sq. ft ocean front mansion and a couple of other very nice homes on the inlet.
